Who knew that milking cows 2x a day would be easier than starting a business?
For the last 10 years, I’ve been milking cows twice a day — every day — and that’s the easy part.
Little did I know that starting and running a full-time farm has legal aspects that I never thought of. If 10 years ago, someone asked me “what’s my EIN number?” I would have looked at them like they were crazy and had no clue what they were talking about.
Today life is not the same. We live, we learn and now, I teach.
Maybe that’s you today. You’re not sure what you’re getting yourself into and you don’t know where to start.
I get it. This episode and the few that will follow will help guide you in the right direction so that you can start and set up your farm business the right way — the first time.
The ultimate goal is for you to establish yourself as a real business, making real money doing what you love and turning a profit every year.
That’s the goal and I hope you’ll join me on this journey to a profitable farm on the Profitable Mindset Podcast.

I AM SO THRILLED! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ “After 3 years of running our own farm, we don’t make a profit yet and part of that is due to the fact that we spend all our time in the field, and none working on our business. These first two episodes have already given me a list of things to do that is going to make our farm life so much easier, more professional and more profitable. Charlotte has been a wealth of knowledge and through her website and Facebook Page, and I’m beyond excited to be able to listen to her while working outside as well.” — Beavertides Farm
